In 2016, I was awarded a travel fellowship by Olson Kundig to document the rehabilitation of the Sedlec Ossuary outside of Prague. As a Czech descendent with ancestors interred in this legendary charnel house, the project was one of both architectural intrigue and family history.

Working closely with a team of architects, structural engineers and skilled craftsmen, I was granted unfettered access to both the structure and surrounding grounds— an active archeological dig site and part of the wider UNESCO world heritage site of Kutná Hora, a medieval silver mining town.
